EKKO Concert

Hello friends,

Please consider joining us on Sunday the 4th as we visit Emdrup Kirke for a special afternoon Julekoncert. This is a very talented and lively group of singers, and our own Kirstine Rom is a member. The concert starts at 4pm, and we will be leaving as a group from FIBC on bike at 3:20.

THANKSGIVING 2011!

Hi friends!

This coming Thursday it will be Thanksgiving (in the U.S. at least) and even though Thanksgiving might not be a tradition of yours, we would still like to invite you to our annual Thanksgiving dinner.

The reason is that we support the original thought of Thanksgiving - giving thanks for all the things that we have. If you stop and think, we are sure that you will be able to find more than just one thing :-)

Now for the practical info:

WHEN: Saturday, November 26
TIME: 18:00 - 20:00 - Thanksgiving dinner
20:00 - 22:00 - Movie
WHERE: @ the church, Baggesensgade 7, 2200 Copenhagen; 1st floor!
DEADLINE: Wednesday, November 23
COST: 50kr per person (this includes all food)

This is how we will do it. The food will be prepared by us but participants will be signed up to a team and given a task e.g. setting up, cleaning up, decorations etc. So as soon as you sign up you might get an email with info on which team you've been put :-). Together we'll make it a great dinner!

You are more than welcome to bring a friend along. Remember to also sign your friend up.

Note that we might have to put a max of participants due to space. So, hurry to sign up and please keep the deadline! And please bring the 50kr with you in cash so that we don't have to hunt you all down afterwards :-).

Potluck Dinner - You bring the pot we bring the luck :)

Hi friends,

We would hereby like to invite you for a CONNECT potluck dinner.
As usual with potlucks, everyone has to bring a dish (starter, main dish, side dish, dessert, etc)
So, start checking cooking books, find hidden recipes or call your mom...

Hannah has invited us to be in her (actually her host family's) place. :)

WHEN: Friday, November 18

WHERE: Høje Taastrup. (End station on the B-line (green))
The address information will be given only to the ones who signed up!
WHAT: We'll enjoy the brought dishes and depending on what people are up for watch a movie, play some games, just hang out....

Hi Friends!

This coming activity will be a low key, relaxed evening.
The evening will contain home made pizza and a movie.
