Hi friends!
With regret I have to inform you that I, Julia, have made a mistake when I was supposed to book the rooms for the Thanksgiving dinner. The consequence is that we can't be in the rooms we planned to and the room we can use is not geared for a high table Thanksgiving dinner.
However, don't sign off yet! We will do something else in stead but still in the thanksgiving spirit. :-)
The activity is: Build Your Own Turkey Sandwich & Watch A Movie
Here are the details again:
WHEN: Friday, November 26
TIME: 18:00 - 19:00 arrival and arrangement of ingredients
19:00 - 22:00 Building sandwiches and watching movie
WHERE: @ the church, The Fireplace Room, 2nd floor - enter the door on the left side of the church at the back and walk the stairs all the way up.
HOW: Right after the deadline, a list with needed ingredients will be sent out for you to sign up on. On the day, all the brought ingredients will be gathered so that you can build your sandwich as you like it.
DEADLINE: WEDNESDAY, NOV 24 - 23:30

THANKSGIVING 2010
Hi friends!
Although Thanksgiving might not be a tradition of yours, we will organise a Thanksgiving dinner.
The reason is that we support the original thought of Thanksgiving - giving thanks for all the things that we have. If you stop and think, we are sure that you will be able to find more than just one thing :-)
Now to the practical info:
WHEN: Friday, November 26
TIME: 18:15 - 19:00 - drop off of food & snacks
19:00 - 22:00 - Thanksgiving dinner
WHERE: @ the church, Baggesensgade 7, 2200 Copenhagen; walk along the left side of the church and enter the door.
DEADLINE: Monday, November 22 - 12:00
This is how we will do it. Each participant will bring something along, in the true spirit of a potluck. A list of needed things will be made and sent around to the participants where you can sign up for what you will bring. All participants will split on the cost of the meat, which will be prepared by the CONNECTteam. The amount is usually 20-25DKK.
You are more than welcomed to bring a friend along. Remember to also sign up your friend.
Note that we might have to put a max of participants due to space. So, hurry to sign up and please keep the deadline!
